From Taylor Hopkinson we are searching for a Procurement Specialist to join a leading renewable energy company focused on development, construction and operation of renewable energy projects in Europe. This person will be based in Gliwice (Poland) with some flexibility to work from home a couple of times per week.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end purchasing cycle, from tendering and contract negotiation to delivery, inspection, and invoicing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, and contractors, ensuring reliability and long-term partnership value.
- Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and implement best practices for supplier evaluation and risk management.
- Support due diligence for new projects by providing cost benchmarks, supplier assessments, and procurement schedules.
- Collaborate with the construction team to resolve delivery issues, variations, and logistics challenges, ensuring maximum optimization of CAPEX/OPEX outcomes.
Requirements
- Degree/Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or similar
- Previous experience in the negotiation of contracts and procurement activities in the energy, construction or infrastructure sector
- Fluent in English and Polish
- Project Management knowledge would be appreciated
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders
- The ideal candidate should be autonomous, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
