JOB PURPOSE
You will be part of the Procurement Operations Team, taking responsibility for European operational activities to ensure a smooth supply of materials for our production. The Procurement Operations team in Europe plays a crucial role in securing uninterrupted continuation of our production operations.
Your time will mainly be spent troubleshooting in various aspects of our European Operations, supporting our internal sourcing units and/or Collaborative Manufacturers (CMs) in case of material supply issues. You will collaborate with relevant internal and external stakeholders to coordinate communication and issue resolution.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
Driving service for raw and packaging material supply, mitigating supply/service risks through innovative solutions.
Quickly building knowledge on various buying portfolios to make informed decisions.
Building a solid network within the company and with main material suppliers and CMs.
Monitoring capacity and capability at suppliers to assure continuity of supply.
Managing mould health and refurbishment projects, including capex management.
Collaborating with the procurement manager on troubleshooting.
Identifying and driving contingency and resilience activities.
Contributing to service and quality improvement projects with suppliers.
Coordinating quality loss claims caused by material non-compliances.
Ensuring satisfaction of Unilevers internal customers with procurement services.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Experiences & Qualifications
3-5 years in FMCG Supply Chain or Procurement related roles.
Proficient in English.
Experience in managing stakeholders.
Effective troubleshooting skills with a calm demeanor in crises.
