Procurement Category Manager - Marketing

We’re seeking a highly experienced Procurement Category Manager – Marketing ready for a confidential, career‑defining move. Our client is a globally recognized market leader, and the role is based in Warsaw, Poland. This regional position offers the chance to shape procurement strategy across Europe.

Key responsibilities:

• Define and execute robust regional category strategies in agencies, production, market research, events and POSM to optimise spend and achieve ROI.
• Spearhead regional sourcing initiatives, develop innovative tools, processes and best practices to maximise investment.
• Collaborate closely with the Global Category Procurement team to deploy overarching global strategies across the region.
• Build strong relationships with senior global, regional and local stakeholders to ensure strategy delivery and realised efficiencies.

Key requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years of dedicated experience in Marketing & Sales Procurement, with a proven track record in category strategy development, spend optimisation and project execution.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, financial acumen and ability to develop business cases and conduct ROI analysis.
• Strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, capable of engaging senior stakeholders and influencing cross‑functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s in Procurement, Marketing or Sales is an advantage.
• Fluent English is mandatory.
