We are looking for a Process Optimization Engineer to join our team and drive improvements on the main assembly line. This role focuses on analysing production performance, optimising process parameters, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic automotive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize production processes on the main assembly line through analysis and modification of process parameters.
  • Create and update technological documentation (work instructions, parameter sheets, visual aids).
  • Analyse micro‑downtime on assembly machines and identify root causes.
  • Monitor and analyse assembly line performance (OEE).
  • Conduct PFMEA to assess potential failure modes and their effects.
  • Investigate mechanical downtimes and failures on assembly lines.
  • Analyse component/product rejects and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Provide support for metallisation and painting processes.

Profile

  • Minimum secondary education; preferred Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in technology or mechanical engineering.
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Good command of English (spoken and written).
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Windows.
  • Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and achieve goals.
  • Strategic thinking and quality orientation.
  • Ability to provide feedback and share knowledge.
