This is an excellent opportunity for an experience professional who can efficiently analyze every-day financial activities and subsequently contribute towards the future financial plans of the organization. The successful candidate would be expected to be proficient in overseeing receivable and payables processes and resolve non-routine issues. Key Objectives and Major Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all month-end close processes and activities including Depreciation run, Bank reconciliation statement, revenue booking, schedules for statutory dues, tax, and preparation of other reconciliations as required.
  • Review, control and daily management of the purchase/payable and sales/receivables ledger.
  • Identify potential compliance issues and recommend solutions, ensure timely completion of financial reporting requirements.
  • Preparation of monthly financial statements and do necessary review.
  • Reconcile complex accounts involving inconsistent data from non-integrated systems.
  • Ability to critically review and analyze financial statements and challenge the outcomes if required.
  • Prepare and analyze problems using sensitivity analysis and other techniques.
  • Ability to track and monitor budget vs. actual detect any non-conformance and mitigate any negative impact in the interest of the organization/client and highlight the same.
  • Balance potentially competing demands of stakeholder groups and prioritize effectively.
  • Support the group in reporting and audit activities wherever required
  • Support and lead automation initiatives including ERP implementation for local & global requirements.
  • Support local teams in Poland (business, HR, Facilities, The Board) with managing daily finance activities: budgeting, financial statements, invoicing flow.
  • Collaborating with external vendors for finance related operations.



Key Capabilities and Competencies:

  • Strong experience in financial operations with focus on process, procedures & compliance.
  • Sound Knowledge of tax compliances with focus on Polish legislation.
  • Sound understanding of how to evaluate and review internal policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with external standards.
  • Experience on Implementation of Internal financial control.
  • Present attention to detail and a belief in getting things right first time.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills that provide concise, specific, and impactful messaging.
  • Track performance against established standards identify deviation of gaps and recommend solutions to address them.
  • Able to generate specific insights from data/information to make informed decisions.
  • Proficient in using features of MS Office.
  • Competent to work in an active and diverse environment.
  • Chartered Accountant with 2-5 years of experience.
