Are you a privacy law specialist eager to tackle complex data protection challenges on a global scale? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where privacy plays a critical role in research, healthcare, and international markets?

We are seeking a Privacy Counsel to join our clients Global Privacy Office, supporting research, international legal, medical affairs, marketing, and commercial teams.

In this key role, you will provide strategic legal guidance ondata protection, privacy compliance, and regulatory matters, ensuring alignment with global privacy laws such as GDPR, UK GDPR.

What we expect

  • Minimum7 years of legal experience, with 5+ years focused on privacy matters.
  • Strong expertise in GDPR, UK GDPR
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, international environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%, including internationally.
  • Nice to have: experience in healthcare privacy law and compliance, particularly in research settings.

Your tasks

  • Acting as a subject matter expert on global privacy and data protection laws, providing pragmatic legal advice to support research and international business operations.
  • Guiding the structuring, drafting, and negotiation of contracts to ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Leading privacy risk assessments and helping develop global privacy policies and best practices.
  • Supporting privacy-related legal matters, includingpartnerships, acquisitions, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
  • Conducting privacy training and awareness programs across the organization.
  • Staying ahead of emerging privacy laws and regulatory trends, proactively advising on their impact.
