Your responsibilities

  • Monitor various country or region-specific privacy legislations and data protection regulations, analyzing compliance requirements and issue recommendations as needed, support the implementation of new requirements into technology
  • Lead privacy by design initiatives for a portfolio of SaaS products dedicated for the hospitality industry
  • Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and AI Impact Assessments
  • Improve and maintain cross-border data transfer legal framework
  • Review and negotiate of various data protection terms and data processing agreements with clients, suppliers, partners
  • Interact with IT, security and business stakeholders to identify data protection related risks and introduce mitigating measures
  • Maintain the Register of Processing Activities
  • Privacy incident management
  • Conduct employee trainings, increasing employee understanding of privacy, data handling practices and legal obligations
  • Oversee the process of handling data subject requests

Our requirements

  • A university degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Privacy role in multi-national company, ideally in tech/SaaS
  • IAPP certification (e.g. CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT)
  • Experience with interpreting and implementing obligations of the data protection legislation and regulations (especially the GDPR, CCPA and PIPL), as well understanding of security compliance
  • Familiarity with One Trust and/or similar solutions
  • Knowledge and experience in IT and security when working in privacy role, including a solid understanding of relevant technologies, such as encryption, hashing, tokenization, etc.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to manage simultaneous projects under deadline pressure
  • Flexibility and willingness to work on broad variety of legal and tech matters and collaboration with various teams and divisions
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a collegial, fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of IT and SaaS products and practices to protect data during processing activities
  • Relationship building: Builds effective relationships through positive communication that motivates and influences others. Is an honest, trustworthy, a valued team member, and actively involved in achieving team objectives.

Job Description

To support our Legal and Privacy team, we’re looking for an experienced and dynamic Privacy Advisor in Katowice/Wrocław to provide ongoing privacy advice and guidance to our internal stakeholders across the organization.

We are looking for candidates based in the Silesia region (office in Katowice or Wrocław), with a requirement to be present in the office at least 4 times a month. Fully remote work is not an option, and unfortunately, applications from more distant locations will not be considered in the recruitment process.
