Position Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our dedicated team. As a vital member of our team, you will primarily focus on the front and back end of the product, which runs on AWS. This position requires a minimum of 3-5 years of software engineering experience, a B.Sc. in computer science or equivalent education, and a strong background in security (an advantage).

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with a global team, including engineering teams in Ireland, India, and the United States, to contribute to the development of the security platform.
2. Focus on both the front and back of the product, ensuring its robustness, scalability, and security.
3. Participate in designing, implementing, and maintaining features and enhancements.
4. Use languages such as Typescript, JavaScript, and SQL to build efficient and effective solutions.
5. Employ your background in security to enhance the security measures and response capabilities of the platform.
6. Collaborate closely with the Director of Engineering to align technical strategies and project milestones.
7. Demonstrate self-driven initiative and work autonomously in a distributed team environment.
8. Uphold high coding standards and produce well-documented and maintainable code.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on software engineering experience, with a track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
2. B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent education in a related field.
3. Experience with Node.js and Docker.
4. Experience with React.
5. Familiarity with AWS and cloud-based architectures.
6. Knowledge of security best practices for web applications and data protection.
7. Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
8. Proficiency in debugging, profiling, and optimizing code for performance and efficiency.
9. Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
10. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for continuous improvement.
11. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with international teams.
12. Strong background in security concepts and practices (an advantage).
