Principal Machine Learning Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Principal Machine Learning Engineer to join the team and drive the development of cutting-edge machine learning solutions in the R&D domain. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping our ML strategy, building and mentoring a high-performing engineering team from the ground up, and delivering innovative solutions to solve complex problems.

• Technical Leadership
• Design, develop, and implement state-of-the-art machine learning models and algorithms to address real-world challenges.
• Lead the end-to-end ML lifecycle: from data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training to deployment and monitoring in production.
• Stay at the forefront of ML research and evaluate the applicability of new methodologies, frameworks, and technologies for business needs.
• Ensure the scalability, efficiency, and reliability of ML systems in production environments.
• Team Building and Mentorship
• Build and lead a world-class ML engineering team, including hiring, onboarding, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, enabling their professional growth and development.
• Establish and enforce best practices for software engineering, machine learning workflows, and collaborative development.
• Project Ownership
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers, to identify business opportunities and define ML use cases.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into actionable technical roadmaps and deliverables.
• Oversee multiple ML projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and quality standards.
• Strategic Contributions
• Shape the long-term vision and roadmap for machine learning within the organization.
• Contribute to the companys R&D initiatives by exploring new research areas and applying ML innovations to solve strategic challenges.
• Represent the organization at conferences, meetups, and in industry discussions to establish thought leadership.
