Our client is a global leader in sports fashion and streetwear retail, known for its wide range of premium brands, innovative product selection, and exceptional in‑store and online experience. With a strong international presence and a commitment to trend‑driven style, the retailer continues to shape the future of athletic and lifestyle fashion.

The GlobalLogic team plays a key role in supporting the company’s international growth by designing, building, and maintaining a custom eCommerce platform launched across 10 new global markets.

The project focuses on the development and continuous evolution of core e‑commerce and retail systems for a global omnichannel organization. The platform supports a sports fashion retailer and its associated brands, covering critical functional areas such as transactional services, promotional and campaign management, returns processing, and product information management (PIM).

An experienced and highly skilled Full Stack Developer will lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable web applications. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader with deep technical expertise across ReactJS/Next.js and Node.js and has an advanced level of English.

Requirements

• Lead the design and development of complex, scalable, and high‑performance applications.
• Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and business stakeholders to design system solutions.
• Development & Technical Leadership:
• Build end‑to‑end features using ReactJS/Next.js (frontend) and Node.js (backend).
• Design and implement APIs using GraphQL and REST where appropriate.
• Ensure test coverage and reliability through unit/integration testing with Jest.
• Mentorship & Team Collaboration:
• Mentor and guide engineers, ensuring continuous technical growth within the team.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including UX/UI, QA, and DevOps.
• Lead technical discussions, proof of concepts, and design reviews.

Scalability & Performance

• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and cost‑effectiveness on AWS Cloud.
• Implement observability, monitoring, and alerting to maintain system reliability.

Technical Expertise

• Frontend: ReactJS, Next.js, modern UI design principles.
• Backend: Node.js
• Languages: TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+).
• APIs: GraphQL, RESTful APIs.
• Testing: Jest, unit and integration testing frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with serverless architecture and event‑driven systems.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of performance optimization and security best practices.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Excellent leadership, problem‑solving, analytical thinking, communication skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Work with client’s team and ensure that initiatives are led and delivered to closure.
• Collaborate with product managers, challenge them in terms of features and keep the delivery timeline intact.
• Ensure that the solution is technically robust and scalable to meet all the fascia needs.
• Have unit tests, integration tests, mocks as part of the solution.
• Direct the teams in terms of development, testing and integration.
• Be hands‑on and write code, review code of the team before it goes to the client.
• Zero tolerance towards bad coding practices and lack of tests.
• Look at the features to be independently deployable and release independently.
• Look at the cost optimization and scale optimization for the features deployed.
• Guide the team with the implementation in terms of technology, design and be accountable for the work package delivery.
