PeakData blends AI, data engineering and deep domain expertise to map millions of data points and surface the right healthcare professionals (HCPs) to Pharmaceutical organisations, so that new treatments reach patients faster.

Founded in 2018, with over 70 people on board, they support over half of the top-20 global pharmaceutical companies and operate from hubs in Switzerland (HQ, Zug), the UK (London), Germany (Berlin), the Netherlands (Eindhoven) and Poland (Wrocław).

Their vision is to enable patients to get the best treatment available with the simultaneous mission that every drug should benefit from their best-in-class platform for medicine adoption. Daily, they build a SaaS data platform with a focus on HCP Segmentation & Targeting, Expert Mapping & Profiling, Digital Activators and Impact Tracking offering continuous data capture & fusion from public digital sources relevant to HCPs activity, AI-driven approach and web-based workflows (Healthscape). Now, we’re looking together for a Principal Engineer who will join the team in Wrocław-based office (hybrid) and won’t be afraid of solving complex troubles in the innovation group!

What PeakData can offer you:

Role: Principal Engineer

Salary: 45-60 EUR/h B2B plus the choice between 2 equity packages with the larger one forecasted to be worth 2.2M PLN in 2028

Working hours: flexible between 6:00-18:00

Working mode: hybrid (2-3 days per week in the office)

Office location: Wybrzeże Stanisława Wyspiańskiego 39A, 50-370 Wrocław

Speaking language: Polish & English on a communicative+ level as we work in both - Polish and multinational environment.

The biggest challenge in a Principal role at PeakData will be: linking 3 spheres - programming and data + AI innovations + business (but not in a managerial way, your focus will be set on programming mostly).

• working in Agile (actually, semi-kanban) way and taking part in (limited amount of) meetings like daily or weekly engineering recaps (plus one meeting for the whole company per month),
• tasks connected to the whole life cycle of the product from prototyping, through programming, data engineering and validation up to code reviews and tests etc.,
• taking part and driving the AI-change and innovations,
• looking for optimizations and solving the most critical technical challenges, from building a scalable multi-tenant data architecture to integrating cutting-edge Generative AI features into our core product,
• as Principal, you will be a “hands-on player-coach", who will be spending 80%+ of your time shipping code while mentoring and elevating the skills of the entire team through your example.

• min. 6 years of experience in IT, preferably with a lot of Python,
• mastery of data - being hands-on with data pipelines and extracting information from unstructured data (it’s a plus if you hold data science/engineering roles before),
• AI-native mindset, with fluency in AI-powered tools and practical experience with LLMs, building forecasting/classification models, ETL pipelines etc. - all with cutting-edge technologies,
• architectural pragmatism and previous experience in scalable, cloud-native SaaS products (AWS preferred),
• startup DNA - feeling comfortable with ambiguity and a fast-paced environment and collaborating easily in Polish and English - both with the team and clients!
