As Moderna scales its Enterprise Solutions Hub (MESH) in Warsaw, we seek a Principal Analyst, FP&A to join our global Finance team. This individual contributor will collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial and Medical teams, focusing on planning, reporting, and analytics. The role emphasizes process optimization and automation, offering a chance to influence how performance data and financial forecasts are delivered across Modernas high-growth ecosystem. Ideal for a hands-on financial professional with strong analytical skills and experience in dynamic environments, the role also involves working with digital tools, including Generative AI for data management and visualization.

Here’s What You’ll Do

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Designing and maintaining standardized financial reporting frameworks across regions.
  • Building dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Tracking performance monthly and quarterly, analyzing variances, and updating actuals.
  • Leading OPEX reporting for global and market insights with standardized methods.
  • Managing data integration and uploads in enterprise systems (EPM, Workday, etc.).
  • Creating templates to support scalable forecasting and planning.
  • Leading data loading processes into EPM for sales and OPEX planning.
  • Supporting month-end and quarter-end accruals following accounting standards.
  • Partnering with FBPs for PO accuracy, cost center alignment, and consistency.
  • Collaborating to improve financial systems and ensure data integrity.

Your Responsibilities Will Also Include

  • Automating manual reporting and forecasting for efficiency.
  • Creating visual presentations to communicate financial insights.
  • Managing complex financial modeling projects from start to finish.
  • Innovating templates and improving global FP&A processes.
  • Serving as a liaison between MESH and global finance teams.
  • Evaluating and integrating digital tools, including AI, to enhance analytics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Excel skills for dynamic forecasting models.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, or R for data analysis; scripting knowledge is a plus.
  • Experience with EPM, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle EPM Cloud), and tools like SmartView.
  • Proficiency with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Power Query).
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret large datasets and derive insights.
  • AI experience for data challenges is advantageous.
