Based 50% onsite at the plant outside Hannover with regular liaison with the Shared Services team based currently in Germany.
Description:
Key role in finance team with responsibility for financial accounting and reporting for the business.
Prepare and analyse monthly accounts.
Work with Shared Service team to produce monthly management reporting together with other ad hoc reports.
Group financial and local statutory reporting.
Oversee the budget and forecasting process.
Work with the business to develop/implement/manage internal controls, policies and procedures in line with accounting manual.
Building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with all senior managers and their teams.
Assume a critical role as partner to the commercial and operational managers working through analysis of standard margins and manufacturing variances.
Work closely with the business on working capital management.
Monitor closely pricing and margins. Ensure all product and project costings are accurately maintained and ensure process is in place to make accurate estimates. Drive process improvement.
