LOCATION: Warsaw – Hybrid

PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: up to 97,500 PLN depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

As PR & Communications Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in delivering impactful consumer, trade, and digital campaigns across Poland, CEE, MENA and Turkey. Supporting the Senior Communications Officer, you’ll lead press activity, contribute to strategic planning, and provide essential admin and research support to elevate BBC Studios’ presence and storytelling across diverse markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT

  • Create and manage PR & communications materials including press releases, presentations, and promotional content.
  • Support the planning and delivery of press events, briefings, and screenings.
  • Support and lead PR campaigns for BBC Studios branded services across the region.
  • Pitch stories and distribute assets to media contacts; respond to press queries.
  • Coordinate press interviews and maintain accurate media lists.
  • Monitor and report on media coverage and monthly highlights.
  • Provide research, admin support, and build presentations for senior stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  • Some experience in public relations, communications and events.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines often under pressure.
  • Very good written and spoken communications, including excellent English and Polish spelling, punctuation and grammar.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and social skills, both face‑to‑face and on the phone.
  • Computer literate with strong office skills.
  • A good working knowledge and use of social media for promoting content and news stories.
  • Organised and focused with good attention to detail, proactive approach to projects and people.

DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED

  • Experience of organising events.
  • Experience of writing communications materials for publication by a wide range of outlets to short notice and tight deadlines.
  • Good knowledge of media, within a matrixed organisation.
