Job Description
As a PR & Communication Projects Specialist at Somfy, who is a leading brand for home automation in the building industry, you will co-create communication strategy and PR plans for Eastern European Countries together with the Marketing Team. You will be responsible for managing regional campaigns in line with the business priorities for all brands of Somfy Group, creating and implementing engaging content to raise end user & professional awareness of the brands and of the products and services.
You will work closely with local teams and external agencies to maintain relationships, gather customer feedback, and improve existing content while managing our companys image cohesively to achieve marketing goals and raise brand awareness; in this role, you should have excellent communication skills and the ability to express our company’s views creatively, reporting directly to the Regional Communication Manager.
Objectives
The primary objective for a PR & Communication Projects Specialist is to leverage expertise to enhance our brand recognition towards different targets by using different tools, elevate the quality of our content, based on company strategy, build expertise position on chosen markets, and contribute to the overall success of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy PR strategy and plans aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets for both end users and professionals for chosen countries.
- Enhance the company’s voice and presence through online and offline channels.
- Manage media relations and requests.
- Write press releases, media kits, speeches, and other PR copy.
- Monitor and report on the media coverage assessing the impact of the PR efforts.
- Develop and manage crisis communication strategies in times of crisis.
- Plan, deploy and supervise events, fairs, conferences, etc.
- Facilitate the resolution of disputes with the public or external vendors.
- Lead survey initiatives and analyze public opinion.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and publish professional communication on company LinkedIn channels.
- Set up objectives and monitor all necessary KPIs within design dashboards.
- Lead regional communication for promotional campaigns, including ATL and BTL communication preparation and deployment in chosen countries.
- Competitor analysis in a given scope: PR & communication.
- Maintain the brands voice, tone, and visual identity across all communication channels.
- Drive internal communication activities on a regular basis throughout HR newsletters.
- Collaborate with industry associations to secure interesting speaking engagement and thought leadership opportunities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience as a Communications or PR Leader.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional networks.
- Knowledge of best practices for creating and managing digital content.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Advanced proficiency in written and spoken Polish and English.
- Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Journalism (preferred).
