For an international automotive and e-mobility project, we are looking for an experienced Senior Powertrain Component Owner / Product Owner responsible for the development, coordination, and system integration of powertrain ride-by-wire components.
The role focuses on ensuring compliance with system, performance, and functional safety requirements while acting as a key interface between system engineering teams and external suppliers.
responsibilities :
Ownership of powertrain component development, including drive motor, pedal generator, and battery system components
Definition and management of component-level requirements in close cooperation with system engineering teams
Coordination, monitoring, and technical alignment of component development with external suppliers
Responsibility for technical documentation, specifications, and change management
Support of system-level and vehicle-level integration activities, including validation and testing phases
Ensuring full compliance with functional safety requirements throughout the component lifecycle
requirements-expected :
Proven experience in powertrain component development or mechatronic component development
Solid knowledge of automotive or e-mobility development processes
Hands-on experience in collaboration with external suppliers and development partners
Good understanding of functional safety principles (e.g. ISO 26262)
Very strong skills in technical documentation and specification creation
