Our client is one of the largest seafood companies in the world and the largest producer of Atlantic salmon. The company employs over 14,000 people worldwide and is present in 25 countries. In 2017, the company achieved a turnover of 3.7 billion euros. They provide healthy, tasty, and sustainably farmed salmon and processed seafood in over 80 markets around the world. In Poland, they employ over 4,000 employees and manufacture in 7 production plants in 3 locations. In addition, a Business Support Center employing over 140 people is located in Gdańsk.

Now we are looking for a POWER BI LEAD DEVELOPER

Job responsibilities:

1. Manage a small team of BI Developers plus externals;
2. Manage high-level plans according to PowerBI implementation stages and describe key focus areas for the team, as well as key success metrics;
3. Share knowledge and skills in data analysis to make every team more data-driven;
4. Lead the delivery of the backlog to achieve business needs;
5. Translate requirements of large data initiatives into smaller actionable items;
6. Design and apply methods based on machine learning and deep learning to solve various business problems;
7. Cooperate with the Global BI team in a layer of IT Architecture;

Requirements and skills:

1. A master’s degree in business, engineering, or computer science;
2. 5+ years of experience in data analytics, visualization, and business intelligence;
3. Native Polish speaker with proficiency in English;
4. 2+ years of experience in project management and/or team management;
5. Practical experience working with: PowerBI, Python, SQL, Microsoft Azure, and Snowflake;
6. Understanding of data engineering, data modeling, and architecture;
7. Experience with delivering prototypes in development and in production.
