We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power BI Developer to join our growing analytics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. This role requires a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into intuitive and impactful data visualizations. You will play a crucial role in empowering our stakeholders with data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to meet various business needs.
Monitor the capacity and improve the daily loads.
Connect to various data sources, perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) using Power Query and Dataflows.
Develop and optimize complex DAX queries for robust and efficient data models.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across all Power BI solutions.
Perform unit testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of Power BI reports and data models.
Document technical specifications, data dictionaries, and user guides for developed solutions.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data analytics capabilities and infrastructure.
requirements-expected :
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
3-5 years of proven experience as a Power BI Developer or in a similar Business Intelligence role.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI Desktop (report design, data modeling, DAX).
Proficiency within Power BI service (Gateway Portal, Administration, Capacity monitoring).
Experience with Snowflake / SQL Server and writing SQL queries for data extraction and manipulation.
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL processes.
Understanding of data visualization best practices and storytelling with data.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of Azure data services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Portal, Azure Servers).
