PostgreSQL Engineer

Your responsibilities

• Managing production databases

Our requirements

• Experience: 7+ years of experience as a PostgreSQL DBA, including hands-on operational expertise in managing production databases,
• Proven experience in managing large-scale PostgreSQL environments with replication, clustering, or partitioning,
• Deep understanding of PostgreSQL architecture, extensions and tools,
• Expertise in SQL query optimization and debugging,
• Strong knowledge of Linux environments, including shell scripting and system-level,
• Proficient in Shell scripting,
• troubleshooting,
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Grafana or pgAdmin,
• Certifications (preferred): PostgreSQL certifications such as PostgreSQL CE or equivalent,
• Experienced working according to scaled agile framework,
• Experience with ITIL process framework,
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills,
• Ability to work independently,
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience with DevOps tooling AAP, VRA/VRO, Terraform or equivalent.
