- Experience: 7+ years as a PostgreSQL DBA managing production databases.
- Expertise in large-scale PostgreSQL environments, replication, clustering, and partitioning.
- Deep understanding of PostgreSQL architecture and tools.
- Strong SQL optimization and Linux troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, pgAdmin).
- Certifications: PostgreSQL CE or equivalent.

Analyze and resolve database bottlenecks. Provide recommendations for query optimization and schema design improvements., Backup and Recovery: Manage backup and recovery strategies. Ensure compliance with RPO (Recovery Point Objective) and RTO (Recovery Time Objective) through rigorous testing., Security Management: Implement and maintain database security, encryption, and auditing. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and remediate identified issues., Automation and Scripting: Develop scripts for automating routine tasks using Bash, Python, or equivalent. Enhance operational efficiency through CI/CD pipeline integration for database changes., Operational Support: Proactively monitor the health and performance of database systems, identifying and addressing issues before they impact users.
