Job Description:

The group of Prof. A. Sedrakian at the Institute of Theoretical Physics, University of Wroclaw invites applications to fill one postdoc position. The successful candidate is expected to work in one of the following fields:

1. Transport and weak processes in dense baryon matter at high densities and temperatures characteristic for neutron star mergers.
2. Transport and neutrino interactions within hybrid stars containing different phases of deconfined quark matter.
3. Relativistic hydrodynamics and application to neutron stars.

The position is for two years, with a possible extension for a third year upon satisfactory performance.

Researchers in theoretical astro and nuclear physics or related areas are encouraged to apply. The candidates should have a PhD degree by the starting date of 01.01.2025 or the date of mutual agreement.
