Offer Description
The Director of the Centre of New Technologies (CeNT), University of Warsaw, with approval from the Rector, announces the opening of a Postdoc position (Assistant Professor) in the Chemical and Biological Systems Simulation Lab – CeNT, University of Warsaw.
Laboratory: Chemical and Biological Systems Simulation Lab
Project leader: Dr hab. Silvio Osella
Project title: Low-Dimensional Nano-Architectures for Light Emission and Light-to-Electricity Conversion
Project details
- Open to persons meeting conditions specified in: Article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 Law on higher education and science; Article 119 and the Statutes of the University of Warsaw; Regulations on allocations for OPUS-20 (LAP) grant.
- Candidate must hold a PhD in chemical sciences, physical sciences, material science, nanotechnology or related field.
- Candidate should have:
- Experience in computational chemistry;
- Excellent oral/written English communication skills;
- Good knowledge of simulation of low dimensional systems and experience with multiscale simulation approaches (MD, CG, QM/MM, QM).
- PhD should be obtained no longer than 7 years prior to signing the employment agreement; PhD must be obtained in an EU, EFTA, OECD country or nostrified by the date of employment.
- During the interview, the candidate presents a plan for further research activities and international experience.
