Overview
LANGUAGE : Polish Interpreter. As a remote interpreter, you play a significant role in facilitating communication between Polish and English speakers. The interpreter needs to be able to process information quickly and with accuracy in a professional manner. It is essential to ensure a quiet & secure environment. Note pads and writing utensils, glossaries, and dictionaries are useful tools.
Responsibilities
- Render conversational concepts accurately between Polish and English following established interpretation protocols, avoiding omissions or additions.
- Process information quickly and with high accuracy in a professional manner.
- Explain certain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication, with permission or at the request of the client.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interpreting assignments.
Qualifications
- Fluency in English and Polish.
- Minimum 3-year interpretation experience preferred.
- Excellent listening, retention and note-taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to render correct concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocol.
