Job Description:
The Poland Patriot Technical Assistance (TA) Lead shall be responsible for personnel management, ensuring resources are available to support Polish PATRIOT GSE operations, and to oversee the conduct of Technical Assistance throughout the period of performance. The Technical Assistance Lead shall serve as the point of contact for all aspects of PATRIOT GSE Technical Assistance and assure that program requirements are adequately planned, evaluated, presented and implemented.
What You Will Do:
The TA Lead is responsible for the planning and execution of TA tasks and will serve as the point of contact for both the US Government and the FMS Customer. The TA Lead will coordinate all TA efforts, ensuring the required resources are available to successfully demonstrate the operational and maintenance capabilities of the PATRIOT system to FMS. In addition, the TA Lead is responsible for overseeing and providing guidance in performing repair of the Major End Items (MEIs). The TA Lead coordinates TA activities with stakeholders, including USG and Country Point of Contact (POC), and Program Management (PM). Performing daily operations meetings with the TA team to explain the day’s activities and progress from previous days is essential. The TA Lead is responsible for the development of meeting minutes from daily meetings and status reporting to Program Management (PM). Review of 2404s created and entries for non-conformance into Automated Logistics Control System (ALCS) is also required. The TA Lead must manage and resolve TA action items that occur during TA. This position is located in Sochaczew, Poland.
What You Will Learn:
The TA Lead must have excellent leadership and communication skills. The TA Lead will have a team of personnel with various skill sets. Previous customer interface experience is necessary. The TA Lead must have risk management and change management experience. Provide technical experience, at the factory level, in the operation, maintenance, and sustainment of the Patriot Configuration III+ Radar equipment to the TA team. Trained and experienced in the operation, sustainment, and troubleshooting procedures of the Patriot Configuration II/III Radar equipment. Knowledge with the operational/analytical software used on the Patriot radar systems is required. Experience in using ECS troubleshooting software aids such as Status Monitor, Switch 9, System Exerciser, and Radar Action Cycler is essential to distinguish between digital and analog problems. Knowledge in the utilization of common industry external test equipment, such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, power meters, frequency counters, spectrum and digital analyzers is necessary. Demonstrated experience with PATRIOT Department of the Army Modification Work Order (DAMWO) installations, including Minor Alteration Procedures (MAP) installation and checkout is required. Experience in the frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards is expected. General application of concepts and principles is essential. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and work in an extreme desert heat environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Project is necessary. An Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Experienced senior field engineer with military training in Patriot Configuration III+ Air Defense systems at the depot level. TA experience in integration of Battalion and Fire Units. Knowledge in the operation and maintenance of Fiber Optic/RF cable troubleshooting and repair, understanding and knowledge of military communications systems and encryption devices is essential. 5 plus years of PATRIOT depot forward maintenance experience and previous expatriate experience are required. Completion of Military Intermediate Maintenance Training (27X/35S/94S/948D6D) or contractor equivalent CLS course is necessary.
Required Education:
BS Electrical Engineering or associated degree. Experience may substitute for education (must have at least 10 years of experience).

Onsite: Employees who are working in onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
