DESCRIPTION:
Amazon is looking for a smart, ambitious individual to join our Public Policy team as intern based in Warsaw . If you are someone who enjoys a dynamic environment, pays attention to detail and is able to multitask, Amazon is looking for you! Expect to get involved in supporting new projects and initiatives, helping drive performance and build plans for the future. The role has a very broad scope and will require an individual who is good at communicating across functional teams.
This 6 month internship will provide you with an unforgettable working experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; it will boost your CV and will make you stand out as a candidate in all your future job searches. The internship position is based in Warsaw.
Key job responsibilities
* Providing support for Amazons position development, monitoring and research on a broad range of policy issues such as the Digital Single Market, sustainability or consumer protection.
* Assisting with implementing Amazons EU engagement plan, scheduling and preparing documents for meetings with EU policy-makers and other relevant stakeholders.
* Supporting the CEE Public Policy team in working with Amazons business teams to ensure alignment between business and policy goals.
* Assisting in the organisation of public policy events.
* Organising and coordinating knowledge sharing within the team and beyond it.

About the team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Currently enrolled in a bachelors / masters degree program in Law, Politics, Social Sciences or related studies, enrolled as a student through all the duration of the internship.
* Proficiency in Polish and English (spoken and written).
* The right to work in the country you are applying for.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* You enjoy learning by doing and working independently, are able to prioritize your time and support multiple projects at a given time.
