The Role
The Project Manager is responsible for aligning project goals with the business objectives and ensuring that all stakeholders are effectively engaged throughout the project lifecycle. Their primary accountability is to ensure that the overall project is completed within scope, in budget, and to required quality standards, and to design, develop, and deliver the technical solution with employee adoption and usage in mind from the beginning.
Qualifications
- 5+ years hands‑on project management experience leading medium‑to‑large scale projects and programs / project portfolio management (PMO)
- Proven expertise in project management methodologies (certification / industry qualifications i.e. PRINCE2, PMP, LEAN / Six Sigma, BPM – Business Process Management, Agile)
- Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and cross‑team responsibilities
- Excellent organizational abilities, clear and transparent communication, and demonstrated reliability
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with ease in working with data
- Strong communication and presentation skills with excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced PowerPoint skills
- Excellent leadership skills, flexibility / adaptability, and capability to initiate and maintain excellent relationships with stakeholders on different seniority levels; including the ability to engage, listen, coach, challenge, and influence across various management levels within PMI
- A self‑starter who is comfortable with a fast, fast‑paced, high‑intensity environment where multiple projects are balanced and work needs to be prioritized; independent and proactive
Responsibilities & Deliverables
- Funding & portfolio orchestration: align project spend with RF/OB cycles; keep ePPM/decision logs current; work with finance to trigger PO/fund releases. Deliverables: cost plan, ePPM entry, decision log, monthly status reports.
- Business scope & prioritization: run the business plan with project sponsor, control scope. Deliverables: integrated plan, scope statement, go‑live/scale‑up criteria.
- SteerCo/decision readiness: drive crisp decisions and record them; escalation only when needed. Deliverables: SteerCo packs; decision & action log.
- Information & AI policy compliance: evidence alignment to policy (PMI 44C, 01C, 03C, etc.); own DPIA requests; coordinate InfoSec and AI@PMI governance. Deliverables: compliance checklist, DPIA/TIA requests, risk log updates.
- Vendor/Procurement touchpoints (if any): if external services/licenses are required, run compliant supplier selection with Procurement. Deliverables: supplier selection plan, compliance checklist.
- Data governance: ensure Data Owner/Steward appointments, metrics glossary signoff, catalog/lineage, access approvals. Deliverables: RACI for data roles, metrics glossary, access register.
- UAT & business acceptance: organize testers, define acceptance criteria, capture defects, and sign off releases. Deliverables: UAT plan, acceptance report.
- Change, training & comms: manage training, materials, and adoption comms; link people into DI&A Communities of Practice for sustained engagement. Deliverables: adoption plan, training calendar, FAQs.
- Benefits realization: track cost avoidance, cycle time to insight, adoption KPIs; reconcile with the business case. Deliverables: benefits tracker & monthly benefits report.
