PLC Programmer with Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 – Pharmaceutical Automation

Join Sii Poland as a PLC Programmer to support an international client in the pharmaceutical and process automation industry. You will develop and maintain control systems, fully remotely, with quarterly on‑site visits for commissioning.

Your tasks

• Develop, test and maintain PLC applications in Structured Text within the Beckhoff TwinCAT environment.
• Participate in design and code reviews, ensuring high software quality and standards compliance.
• Support integration and commissioning of developed software (mostly remote, occasional on‑site visits).
• Cooperate closely with automation engineers and other teams involved in system deployment.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and good automation practices (e.g., GMP, PACKML).
• Prepare and update project documentation in English.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in PLC programming using Beckhoff TwinCAT 3.
• Excellent knowledge of Structured Text (IEC 61131‑3 standard).
• Understanding of industrial automation architectures and communication protocols.
• Practical experience with version control tools such as Git.
• Proactive attitude, problem‑solving mindset, and ability to work independently.
• Good command of English (B2/C1), allowing effective work in an international environment.
• Residing in Poland is required.

Nice to be

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or other CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like TcUnit.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical documentation.
• Background in the pharmaceutical, food, or process industry.
