We are seeking a highly skilled Playwright Engineer to join our engineering team and lead the development of automation solutions for our applications. This role requires a strong software development background with expertise in Playwright automation, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our applications.
As a Playwright Engineer, you will design and implement automation frameworks, collaborate with development teams to integrate automated solutions, and drive best practices for automation-driven development. We are looking for a developer with a deep understanding of automation strategies, REST API testing, and software engineering principles.
responsibilities :
Develop and optimize automation frameworks and tools using Playwright
Collaborate with engineers to integrate automation into development pipelines and CI/CD workflows
Build scalable and maintainable automation solutions that improve reliability and test coverage
Write high-quality, efficient, and reusable TypeScript/JavaScript code
Maintain and monitor automated test execution pipelines, ensuring system stability
Develop and execute REST API automation, ensuring API reliability and performance
Identify inefficiencies and propose engineering improvements that enhance automation reliability
Act as an automation advocate, mentoring teams on best practices and automation strategies
requirements-expected :
Strong programming skills in TypeScript or JavaScript
Proven experience with Playwright for browser automation
Strong understanding of REST API testing and automation
Familiarity with modern development workflows, including CI/CD, Git, and cloud-based environments
Experience designing scalable automation architectures for large web applications
Understanding of performance monitoring, debugging, and system reliability
Ability to analyze and improve engineering processes through automation
Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
