Platform/System Engineer - Observability and Monitoring Team

This role presents a unique opportunity to shape the future of observability and monitoring across a wide range of technologies and applications.
As part of our team, you’ll play a pivotal role in harmonizing monitoring solutions and introducing next‑generation observability within Danish banking. You can expect hands‑on involvement in supporting development teams with setups across diverse platforms, while serving as a trusted subject‑matter expert in monitoring, logging, and observability across multiple domains within BEC.
Primary tasks and responsibilities include:
- Participate in development, daily operation and maintenance of our logging platform, including ELK stack (Beats, Kibana, ElasticSearch, Logstash)
- Engage in development of the new global observability platform
- Take part in projects and activities that will bring a standardized and optimized logging and monitoring solution for our development teams
Required experience:
- +5 years of experience working with a DevOps mindset in complex organizations
- Experience with ELK stack and other logging/monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix)
- Familiarity with OpenShift, Kafka, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Bitbucket
- Familiarity with Open Telemetry, Azure or Mainframe is a plus
- Experience in Agile development practices
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Willingness to travel to DK occasionally
