Digital & Cloud Services (DCS) team, mainly based in Warsaw, as a part of T-Mobile Polska, is focused on consulting, selling, designing and delivering cloud, data center & digital solutions to their customers in Central Eastern Europe.
As an experienced and forward - thinking Datacenter and Cloud expert, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our datacenter and cloud infrastructure portfolio. Your expertise will be crucial in launching new IaaS and PaaS services as well as onboarding new customers.
As a Solution Architect for shared and private cloud environments, you will take ownership of solution design and delivery across all project phases. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, and operations teams, to ensure the successful implementation of secure, scalable, and cost-effective shared-private cloud solutions. Your expertise in cloud platforms such as VMware, KVM, or Kubernetes is essential for driving innovation and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
responsibilities :
Supporting the Deutsche Telekom B2B Europes central cloud and data center team in a presales and solution architect role
Improving the design and implementation of data center solutions that align with business goals across nine EU countries (with a particular focus on Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia and also with Greece, Croatia, Hungary) which means the opportunity of regional work at ca. 25-50% of the time (incl. travels), with the remaining time dedicated to domestic tasks
Solution Design: Manage end-to-end multitenant cloud architectures that align with business requirements and industry best practices. Ability to create proposals for customer opportunities
Implementation Oversight: Lead the deployment of multitenant cloud solutions, ensuring adherence to technical specifications and timelines
Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to technical teams during development, testing, and deployment phases and manage external solution partners
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with clients and internal teams to gather requirements and translate them into actionable technology solutions
Performance Optimization: Monitor customer cloud environments for performance bottlenecks and recommend improvements
Innovation: Stay updated on emerging technologies in cloud computing and propose enhancements to existing solutions
Supporting the overall commercial and technical development of Cloud solutions and standard IaaS/PaaS service models
Collaborating with the sales departments in supporting new opportunities
requirements-expected :
Expertise in cloud platforms such as VMware, KVM, OpenStack, Kubernetes, or equivalent
Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., Hyper-V, VMware, KVM)
Familiarity with computing concepts and storage solutions (including Software Defined Storage)
Experience with security frameworks for cloud environments (e.g., ISO 27001 compliance)
Understanding of shared multitenant cloud architecture, including models such as data isolation and segregation, ensuring efficient resource utilization while maintaining tenant privacy and security
Familiarity with containerization technologies
Strong analytical skills for evaluating technical challenges and proposing effective solutions
Excellent communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders including clients, technical teams, and management
Leadership capabilities to manage cross-functional teams and drive project success
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. You have
5-7+ years of relevant experience in terms of the mentioned fields and the tasks and duties above
Fluent English language skills in both spoken and written, you will need to use it in your daily work
Intention for international travel: Regular travel to countries in the region does not pose a problem for you
Ability to communicate technical and business aspects, identify client needs, and present complex solutions in an understandable way
Capability of keeping up with the rapidly changing technological landscape and quickly mastering new technologies
Knowledge of market trends and competitive issues, outlining business benefits and return on investment calculations in relation to technological solutions
