The Developer’s Experience is Arrive’s central platform organization with the goal of providing tooling and infrastructure that really become the Developers’ "preferred choice" for going from product idea to impact (build), and beyond (run). Developer’s Experience is enabling around 80 empowered DevSecOps style product teams all over the world across 5 Business Units through a set of common application services, infrastructure and tooling. You will be product managing for one or two teams of these platform teams, and be part of the Developer’s Experience leadership team.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a platform product manager, your role is to foster a strong platform-as-a-product culture for your platform product domain(s) and to establish fruitful relationships and interactions with product teams as our internal customers – and various stakeholders. You will be operating in close partnership with the Engineering Manager and Tech lead on the team, with the main responsibility in making sure the team has clarity on the What and Why through team artifacts such as the roadmap, OKRs, KPIs, strategy, vision and mission. By facilitating the co‑crafting and evolution of these artifacts together with the team, the necessary context is there for the team to work out the How and When – for best possible outcomes. You will be reporting to the Global Head of Product for Developer’s XP.

What You’ll Bring To The Team

• Background in product management with an eager to learn the platform context or Engineering background with an eager to learn product management – or even better – coming with a skillset combining both.
• Strong abilities with typical product team artifacts such as roadmaps, OKRs and metrics – and to rapidly learn whatever needed. With less of such typical product skills, willingness to learn these must be high and to be balanced up with a strong toolbox for the engineering aspects of platform products.
• Excellent people skills – to proactively cater for smooth operations but when things get heated be able to help a group work things out.
• Ability to operate efficiently in a globally distributed setup – able to build high trust across channels such as video calls, Slack asynchronously as well as face‑to‑face.
• High degree of structure in your work approach and well‑trained ability to prioritize the right thing in a very dynamic environment.
• Excitement around enabling others, seeing product teams as your customers.
• Preferably having experience of the product operating model and believing in the power of organisational health.
