About the project:
We are seeking a Platform Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage, design, and implement innovative solutions to enhance the functionality of our Developer Portal, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of our clients. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the high availability and performance of the Developer Portal.
- Maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines.
- Conducting regular system health checks.
- Swiftly addressing potential issues.
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
Experience:
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Experience with building developer portals (ie. Backstage)
- Strong Working Experience in core web technologies:
- JavaScript/TypeScript for customizing, extending, and contributing to Backstages core functionality
- React for customizing and building user interfaces within Backstage.
- Demonstrated capability in collaborating with opensource projects
- Experience with containerization and Kubernetes
- Strong Working Experience from large complex backend systems
