Ciklum is looking for a Platform Architect to join our team full-time in Poland.

As a Platform Architect, you will play a crucial role in defining and executing our technology strategy, delivering high-quality technology platforms, and overseeing the development and delivery of cutting-edge solutions. You will lead a diverse team of technologists and engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and ensuring successful project implementation across the organization.

This position features a hybrid work model, integrating remote flexibility with recurring presence in Krakow office, with potential relocation to Krakow.

Responsibilities

• Support IT business projects and transformation programs by delivering new IT services, leveraging cloud and infrastructure technologies, and migrating applications to IaaS/PaaS platforms on public and private cloud
• Investigate and adopt new infrastructure technologies to meet evolving business requirements
• Develop technical strategies that underpin the Future State Architecture
• Optimize the portfolio of infrastructure services for operational improvement and cost efficiencies
• Develop and review Infrastructure Architecture Designs and drive the implementation
• Drive transformation programs for greater utilization and lowering operational costs, while phasing out non-strategic technology platforms
• Manage relationships with IT Architecture, IT Infrastructure Delivery, and Application Development teams to ensure alignment and collaboration
• Deliver comprehensive technical infrastructure designs that meet Non-Functional Requirements
• Assess the impact on interconnected services and systems, validate deployment and support models, and offer technical counsel for system components

Requirements

• Cloud Technologies: Working knowledge of cloud technologies, including AWS, GCP, and Azure
• Container Technologies: Working knowledge of container technologies (Docker and Kubernetes)
• Database Management: Knowledgeable in databases including Oracle RAC, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
• Technical Passion: Stay abreast of developments in the DevOps PaaS/IaaS landscape and proactively incorporate innovations to yield tangible benefits
• Technical Governance: Experience providing technical governance over products using frameworks such as the Technical Reference Model (TRM)
• Business Effectiveness: Proven track record of implementing significant changes that enhance business effectiveness sustainably
