ROLE DESCRIPTION:

The Plant Manager will lead the manufactruring strategy and operational goals to exceed customer expectations on quality, cost, and delivery. You will maximize efficiency, optimize production levels, and drive operational excellence while working closely with internal and external stakeholders. The role requires providing clear leadership, inspiring teams, mentoring staff, and managing cross‑functional projects to deliver best‑in‑class products and business practices.

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

• Oversee all manufacturing processes to consistently meet production, quality, delivery, cost, and efficiency KPIs.
• Ensure profitability through cost optimization and resource efficiency.
• Monitor CAPEX, OPEX, and working capital, including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods inventory.
• Organize management structure and develop teams for optimal operational performance.
• Collaborate with Corporate and Division Management to achieve company targets.
• Support the Manufacturing Director in long‑term operational goals, expansions, and new technologies.
• Maintain a safe and healthy working environment in compliance with regulations.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Direct Production, Maintenance, SCM, Facility, NPM, HR, and ESH functions.
• Develop and execute production budgets and monitor operational expenses.
• Drive KPIs across all manufacturing areas and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Apply modern lean manufacturing principles daily and promote a 5S housekeeping culture.
• Work closely with quality teams to ensure product consistency and minimize scrap.
• Manage inventory levels and optimize cash flow generation.
• Conduct employee training, coaching, performance appraisals, and skill development.
• Coordinate key account visits and manage workforce relations, including union contracts if applicable.
• Ensure accurate industrial reporting, KPI tracking, and implementation of corrective actions.
• Travel as required to support plant operations.

KEY COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial/manufacturing management, preferably in rubber production.
• Strong technical, organizational, and economic understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Proven operational leadership with hands‑on mentality.
• Results‑oriented, highly motivated, and capable of driving team performance.
• Strong analytical, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Polish.
• Expertise in lean manufacturing, quality systems, layout optimization, and safety enforcement.
• Ability to develop employee skills, motivate teams, and lead complex projects.
