Their holdings include modern, sustainable office and mixed-use assets, valued in the hundreds of millions. Known for long‑term ownership, lean structures, and high trust in local operators, the group is now establishing its first in‑house finance position in the region.

Role Overview
As Finance Manager, you will oversee full‑cycle finance operations for the group’s European holdings, covering Poland, Luxembourg, and Belgium. You’ll lead all financial reporting, group‑level consolidation, statutory compliance, tax oversight, audit preparation, cash flow and treasury activities, refinancing support, and covenant reporting. The role includes stakeholder interaction across Sydney HQ, European advisors, fund structures, and local operating partners.
You’ll also support investment activity, capital allocation, and property performance analysis while working closely with international tax, legal, and audit experts. This role offers a hybrid work setup from Poznań with regular travel to Luxembourg and occasional visits to Western European assets.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Financial Oversight
- Oversee all financial functions including management accounting, accounts payable, cash flow forecasting, statutory and group reporting.
- Coordinate treasury management, intercompany transactions, and audit readiness.
- Manage outsourced bookkeeping and tax service providers across countries.
- Lead the preparation of consolidated financial reports across PL/LUX/BE entities.
- Manage intercompany reconciliations and ensure accurate group reporting per IFRS/Polish/Lux GAAP.
Tax and Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Polish and EU tax laws, DAC6/MDR, AML/KYC, and ATAD requirements.
- Liaise with tax advisors and lead preparation of TP documentation (Local & Master Files).
Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
- Serve as finance lead for external auditors, banks, tax advisors, and regulators.
- Prepare board papers and financial summaries for investor and shareholder review.
- Coordinate cross‑border audit schedules and financial governance compliance.
Property & Asset Management Support
- Collaborate with property managers on leasing, rent roll forecasts, and OPEX reviews.
- Deliver monthly/quarterly asset performance reports.
Investment & Treasury Support
- Support refinancing, covenant monitoring, and investor reporting.
- Conduct investment performance reviews and coordinate due diligence.
- Prepare scenario models and capital allocation frameworks.
Strategic & Operational Contribution
- Improve reporting structures, internal controls, and automation workflows.
- Contribute to business planning and long‑term strategy with senior stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
- 5+ years in senior finance/tax role, preferably within multinational, real estate, or investment context.
- Strong experience with financial consolidation, cross‑border reporting, and tax compliance.
- Knowledge of Polish GAAP, IFRS, and ideally Lux GAAP.
- Confident Excel user; financial modeling essential; ERP exposure will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with DAC6, MDR, AML, KYC, ATAD, and e‑invoicing/KSeF regulations.
- Fluent in English and Polish; French/Dutch a plus.
- Degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics or other related field.
- CA, CPA, ACCA or Polish‑qualified accountant preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management, independence, and judgment under pressure.
- Willing to work hybrid from Poznań HQ and travel across Europe as required.
