Our client is a global product company in the iGaming sector with 20 years of experience, specializing in online poker software development. The team includes over 200 professionals, primarily working remotely, with offices in Malta, Armenia, and Serbia.Currently, we are looking for a PHP Developer (Zend Framework 2 / Laminas) to join the team!

PHP engineer (Zend Framework 2)

What you’ll do:

• Develop and maintain services for event queues
• Work with PHP7/PHP8, Zend Framework 2 / Laminas, and Symfony components
• Integrate internal APIs (php extension, gRPC) and external services (customer.io, subsub, etc.)
• Handle transactions and concurrency in databases
• Occasionally work on the Backoffice system (ZF1 MVC)
• Participate in task management (YouTrack), code reviews (GitLab), and deployments (Ansible)
• Use MySQL, Redis (for message queues), and Clickhouse (for specific tasks)
• Contribute to Agile processes: daily standups, retrospectives, and bi-weekly releases
• Collaborate closely with testers, DevOps, analysts, and product managers

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of experience with PHP (Zend Framework) or strong interest in working with this framework;
• Technical degree;
• Solid understanding of OOP and OOD principles;
• Russian language proficiency is required.
