Our Expectations:

• 3+ years of commercial development experience with multiple CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Shopify, Contentful, etc.)
• Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Solid understanding of CMS architecture, including themes/templates, plugins/modules, and REST API principles
• Proven ability to customize themes and extensions and create custom modules/plugins
• Experience working with SQL (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases
• Proficiency with Git and version control systems
• Basic working knowledge of Composer
• Adept at quickly understanding and working with unfamiliar codebases and third-party systems
• Conversational English at or above Intermediate (B1) level

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with headless CMS solutions (e.g., Contentful, Strapi, Sanity)
• Skills in integrating with external APIs and platforms (CRM, payment systems, marketing services)
• Familiarity with templating languages/frameworks like Shopify Liquid, Twig, or Blade, and experience with React (for storefront/admin customization)
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Understanding of SEO, performance optimization, and website security
• Experience in setting up and maintaining hosting environments (VPS, cloud platforms)
• Desire to share knowledge and mentor other developers
• Familiarity with modern AI tools and practical experience applying them to security operations
