We are looking for a talented software engineer to join our dynamic team working on the Giftpro product. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in software development and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining innovative and scalable software solutions, ensuring top performance and reliability. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, participating in technical discussions, and delivering high-quality software while following best practices and industry standards.

Key Accountabilities:

Project Delivery

1. Contribute to technical specifications, estimate tasks, and produce delivery timelines.
2. Actively participate in sprints planning and execution (using JIRA), ensuring timely progress of tasks.
3. Participate in regular project progress reviews.

Product Development

1. Contribute towards the development of the core Giftpro platform.
2. Integrate projects with various third parties.
3. Maintain proper change control, versioning, and quality assurance for software delivery.

Documentation

1. Deliver appropriate documentation for both processes and software.

General Technical Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with partners and colleagues to translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
2. Know, understand and comply to software engineering best practices.
3. Stay updated with industry trends and contribute to technical strategy.

Required skills and experience:

1. 3+ years of professional software development experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality products.
2. Proficiency in PHP and experience with development using the Symfony framework.
3. Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
4. Experience with project management tools like JIRA for task scheduling and sprint management.
5. Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in both software and cloud infrastructure.
6. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and services (e.g. EC2, S3, SQS, SNS).
7. Solid understanding of relational database technologies (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL).
8. Strong understanding of software development life cycle, agile methodologies, and DevOps principles.

Desired skills and experience:

1. Experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation, including system architecture and design specifications.
2. Experience in e-commerce development is highly desirable.
