We are looking for an accomplished PeopleSoft Administrator with at least 8 years of expertise to deliver comprehensive PeopleSoft backend application and infrastructure support, working both independently and collaboratively with peers and other managed service providers. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of PeopleSoft development and the ability to understand and peer review both delivered and custom PeopleSoft application functionality. This role involves identifying and addressing performance and security issues proactively.
responsibilities :
Monitor and maintain the health of the PeopleTools stack on Windows and Linux servers, ensuring high availability and performance.
Perform updates/upgrades and configure the PeopleTools stack on Windows and Linux systems.
Plan and manage the installation of PeopleSoft patches, updates, and maintenance releases.
Create and apply Change Packages for bugs and PUM using Change Assistant.
Conduct post-database refresh activities.
Assess application growth to plan for future capacity requirements.
Monitor PeopleSoft system security daily, produce reports and analytics on information risk, and implement remedies to mitigate vulnerabilities.
Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
Ensure compliance with application change control and migration strategy policies.
Collaborate extensively with Database Administration and Cloud Platform teams.
Develop, test, analyze, code, debug, implement, and document server-side programming/scripts for various PeopleSoft backend activities, including monitoring, task automation, and auto-scaling.
Troubleshoot technical issues with business analysts and developers, providing timely issue resolution.
Conduct technical analysis and feasibility studies, peer-review business requirements, and offer performance improvement recommendations.
Mentor and guide team members on PeopleSoft backend systems and related technologies.
Coordinate and produce security responses for audits and Information Security Office inquiries.
Be available to work during off-hours, weekends, and occasional local holidays for planned projects or scheduled maintenance.
Provide on-call support for system and application issues and respond to problem tickets within service level agreements.

Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Application, Information Management/Systems/Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 8+ years as a PeopleSoft Administrator for version 9.2 and Tools 8.5x, with at least 5 years of experience supporting production environments.
Proficiency in English for effective communication and team coordination.
Expertise in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining PeopleSoft Internet Architecture components.
Proficiency in PeopleSoft Update Manager.
Skilled in PeopleTools and Oracle Database SQL tuning for performance optimization.
Experience configuring SSL and encrypting traffic within the PeopleTools stack.
Working knowledge of Oracle Database, Linux, and Windows.
Experience with networking protocols, Single Sign-On, OAuth 2.0, Integration Broker, Performance Tuning, and OpenSearch.
Proficiency in PowerShell, Bash script, Python, and JavaScript.
In-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft security components and end-to-end encryption processes.
