Main purpose for the position
As project manager, you will be an integral part of the global team enabling the business to operate in new ways with new technology.
In your role, you will lead the implementation of SuccessFactors from a Group perspective ensuring the project is progressing as expected and supporting the country throughout the implementation. This will entail developing project plans, driving dialogue with the countries on the functional solution, localization needs and making sure the global solution design is projected and utilized as best as possible.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Project Planning: Work with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource requirements, and budget estimates.
- Resource Allocation: Identify project team members and assign responsibilities. Coordinate with department managers to allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to support project activities.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery. Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address potential challenges and ensure project success.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders. Communicate project status, updates, and key decisions to stakeholders, team members, and senior management through regular meetings, reports, and presentations.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, including business leaders, clients, vendors, and team members. Manage stakeholder expectations and address concerns or conflicts in a timely and professional manner.
- Budget Management: Monitor project expenditures and track budget variances. Work with finance and accounting teams to ensure that project costs are accurately forecasted, reported, and managed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and service providers involved in project delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of project management experience from global organizations ideally within HRIS implementations.
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or other HR systems is a requirement.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Proficiency in project management software tools, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana, for creating project plans, tracking progress, and managing tasks.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure and technology trends, with the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Project Management Professional certification or equivalent preferred.
