This position will lead the centralization and harmonization of people operations processes across multiple jurisdictions, including Europe, Americas, APAC, and MENA regions.
This role combines operational leadership with strategic transformation - ensuring that people operations are consistent, compliant, and efficient across all legal entities. The incumbent will design and implement standardized processes, build a high-performing global operations team, and lead change management initiatives to support continued growth as a multinational fintech organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. People Operations Leadership
- Lead the People Operations globally distributed function globally, ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery across all regions.
- Oversee all employee lifecycle processes - from onboarding and data management to offboarding and document control - ensuring compliance with local laws and internal policies.
2. Centralization & Process Transformation
- Conduct process mapping, gap analysis, and workflow optimization to identify areas for improvement; create and implement standardized global procedures to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Automate and streamline key processes using HRIS and other digital tools.
3. Compliance, Risk & Governance
- Ensure adherence to local labor laws, data privacy regulations, and company policies across all jurisdictions.
- Implement internal controls and governance frameworks to minimize risk and ensure audit readiness.
- Act as the escalation point for complex operational issues or compliance questions.
4. Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead cross-functional change initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes, systems, and ways of working; partner with HR BP, Payroll, Finance, Legal, IT, and regional business leaders to align operational practices with global strategy.
- Build a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration within the People Operations team.
- Coordinate with internal and external partners to ensure timely and effective project delivery.
Required Experience & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 6–8 years of experience in People Operations / HR Shared Services, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in multinational environments, demonstrated success in centralizing and standardizing HR operations across multiple legal entities and geographies.
- Strong understanding of HR processes across the full employee lifecycle, knowledge of international employment regulations, compliance, and HR data management.
- Experience working with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, HiBob) and HR automation tools.
- Strong project management skills — ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in change management, including stakeholder engagement and communication planning.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; data-driven mindset with attention to detail.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop distributed teams in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Strategic thinker with a hands‑on approach and the ability to translate vision into execution.
