Proven experience within a publishing role, with an understanding of the changes and challenges facing academic publishing Excellent communication skills in written and verbal English and ability to handle challenging conversations directly in a diplomatic and constructive way. Strong and proven influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust quickly to work effectively with stakeholders in other departments with competing priorities and resources Strong organizational skills with the ability to digest large amounts of information and react effectively to urgent situations. A working knowledge of flowcharts, process maps and spreadsheet programs would be an advantage.
