The Team

We are a dedicated payroll team responsible for managing and processing payroll in all EMEA countries where Hitachi Digital operates. We collaborate locally and cross‑functionally to deliver accurate, timely payroll and ensure discretion, professionalism, and sensitivity at all times.

The Role

The Payroll Specialist (German speaker) will oversee all activities related to processing the EMEA payroll, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. The role reports to the EMEA Payroll Manager and works closely with HR, Finance, and the Shared Services Centre in Krakow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monthly supervision of payroll processing for the EMEA payroll.
  • Preparation of input for payroll calculation.
  • Oversight of external payroll provider services.
  • Verification of payroll output.
  • Administration of pensions, vacation days, insurances, bonuses, and other benefits.
  • Calculation of overtime.
  • Act as payroll point of contact for employees.
  • Preparation and submission of all documentation required by local regulations (tax authorities, auditors, etc.).
  • Support implementation of payroll related initiatives and projects.
  • Post‑payroll accounting tasks.

What You’ll Bring

  • 2 to 4 years of payroll experience.
  • Fluent in English and German.
  • Intermediate MS Office (Excel) skills.
  • Strong organizational and attention‑to‑detail skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively both independently and within a team.
  • Pro‑active, flexible attitude.
  • Strong communication skills.
