Summary
The Payroll Specialist supports the accurate and timely execution of payroll activities for Swiss operations from the Poland service center. This role requires solid working knowledge of Swiss payroll processes and systems, with a focus on operational reliability and compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Process monthly payroll cycles for Swiss employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with Swiss social insurance and tax laws.
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to validate employee data and resolve discrepancies.
Support payroll-related reporting and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Assist in the transition of payroll activities from Switzerland to Poland, including system setup and testing.
Independent management of illness and accident cases, including full processing of medical certificates.
Ensure compliance with Swiss labor laws, social insurance (AVS, BVG), and cantonal tax regulations.
Job Qualifications and Knowledge Requirements
High School diploma or vocational training in finance, HR, or accounting;
Swiss payroll experience is required.
2–4 years of payroll experience, ideally with exposure to Swiss payroll.
Working knowledge of SAP PY and payroll accounting principles.
Strong command of German; French and/or Italian is a plus.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and hands-on mentality.
