Position:
Payroll Operations Manager (Fixed-term contract)

Job Description:

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this role, you will manage a team of approx. 10 Payroll Analysts responsible for payroll delivery across Poland and selected Eastern European countries. You will oversee end-to-end payroll processes, ensure compliance, drive improvements, and coordinate work with external vendors.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

• Lead and develop a payroll team of approx. 10 specialists.
• Oversee payroll operations for Poland and CEE countries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage the payroll cycle: approvals, accounting files, time tracking, absence management, pensions.
• Cooperate with external vendors and resolve escalations.
• Ensure compliance with Polish and regional payroll regulations.
• Review and prepare payroll reports for HR, Finance, and Audit purposes.
• Implement process improvements and support payroll-related projects.

WHO YOU ARE:

• 8+ years of payroll experience, including strong knowledge of Polish payroll and exposure to CEE countries.
• 2+ years of team management experience.
• Fluent English (C1); knowledge of other regional languages would be an asset.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to perform under time pressure.
• Able to handle confidential data with discretion.
