Responsibilities:

• Managing and supporting the process of planned remuneration calculation in accordance with EMEA procedures
• Contact with the Tax Office, health care institutions and other entities
• Resolving queries regarding employee salaries
• Collaborate with HR, Finance and other departments to ensure timely and accurate payroll calculations
• Continuing cooperation with payroll service providers to ensure the best quality of services
• Promoting a culture of continuous improvement by optimizing, standardizing and automating processes in collaboration with the EMEA Payroll team
• Cooperation with internal and external auditors
• Performing accounting activities related to payroll (preparation and posting of journals, month-end closing, reconciliation)
• Pension payment processing, cost review and payment reconciliation

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an internal payroll department in an international shared services center
• Advanced knowledge of English and German
• Education in payroll, accounting, business management or related field
• Knowledge of SuccessFactors, ServiceNow and SAP will be an added advantage
• Analytical skills and ability to solve problems
