Payroll Analyst with French

We are currently looking for an experienced Payroll Analyst with French, who will join one of our clients39 team – an international leader in the pharma sector.
Job Overview
This position will report into the Payroll Team Leader of the International Payroll Team, part of Global Business Services (GBS).
The role of Payroll Analyst will be responsible for managing all payroll related tasks in France, DACH region and some LATAM markets, including collecting and validating pay inputs internally, working closely with external payroll providers for payroll settlement and reconciliation and supporting employees with payroll related inquiries.
Main responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly/monthly payrolls for the countriesin scope including France and Germany
- Ensure all payroll activities are processed accuratelyAnd timely every pay cycle
- Provide support to other team members when needed
- Make sure process documentation is up-to-date, suggest and support implementation of process improvements, promote knowledge based usage, support systems optimization.
- Provide best in class support to the employees and stakeholders; timely resolve tickets/requests, follow up and escalate if needed, make sure regular, high-level communication is provided (provide optimum service delivery, timely follow-up, and resolution for employees and in-country HR & Finance).
- Prepare reports and analysis of payroll data to management and third parties, as needed.
- Assist on special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in payroll, preferably in GBS/SSC/BPO Excel and English proficiency are a must
- Fluent in English and a communicative level of French is a must (German or Spanish would be an asset)
- Proficiency with payroll vendors and systems (e.g., TMF, Ernst & Young, ADP, Deloitte) - as well as familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- Understanding of payroll calculations and payroll tax & social security laws and regulations across various jurisdictions
- Expertise in report preparation
- Competence in auditing payroll records and reports for accuracy and compliance
- Experience in managing the execution of defined actions, monitoring the completion with multiple stakeholders
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices related to payroll will be an asset
