As a Junior/Mid-Level Payroll Specialist with French you will provide professional payroll and benefits services to Line of Business (LoB) in EMEA region. You will work with assigned EMEA countries by coordination of end-to-end payroll process while ensuring accurate and timely delivery of remuneration to Novo Nordisk employees.
Key Accountabilities:
• Coordinate the end-to-end payroll processes for assigned countries (France).
• Cooperate closely with internal and external stakeholders (including payroll provider).
• Respond to payroll queries escalated from HR and/or employees.
• Provide administration of local benefits if applicable.
• Optimise payroll operational processes in accordance with the PBO Team goals.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you need to have knowledge and savviness regarding cultural differences. Strong communication and change management capabilities as well as excellent stakeholder management skills in an international environment are also crucial in this role. Customer-centred mindset and solid business understanding as well as focus on operational excellence and delivering on KPIs are also necessary. It is also important in this role to be reliable, accurate and aware of the level of sensitivity of the data processed daily which has a direct impact on the company’s employees’ lives. The appeal of numbers/figures and systems is essential.
We expect you to have:
• Master’s, Bachelor’s or Licence degree within Business, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, HR or equivalent.
• 0-5 years’ experience in payroll processing in one or more large scale organisation.
• Preferably experience from working in a shared service centre.
• Proficiency with HRIS such as SAP, Employee Central, as well as a strong command of MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately and to deadlines.
• A high degree of integrity, a collaborative team mindset, a willingness to travel, and the ability to effectively plan and prioritize tasks.
• Good knowledge of ServiceNow (SNOW) system would be considered as a plus or experience from working with different EMEA countries having knowledge about regulations, practices, and cultures across EMEA.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and French language.
On a personal level you should have strong analytical skills to drive process standardization, optimisation and continuous improvements.
