As a Payments Integration Manager, you will be responsible for managing integrations and optimizing the payment systems that support our business operations. You will lead the integrations and manage relationships with Payment service providers to ensure a smooth and secure payment process for both our customers and internal teams. Your role will involve collaborating closely with developers, QAs, finance, and operations teams to streamline payment processes by enabling new payments methods, improving approval rates, resolving issues and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Support the integration of new and existing payment service providers, banks, processors, and financial systems used within our business.
- Creation and support of technical documentation for payment integrations.
- Collaborate with internal development and finance teams to implement and maintain robust, efficient payment solutions that support business growth. Preparation of tasks for the development team, providing consultations to developers and testers.
- Serve as the technical specialist in payment-related projects, ensuring systems are optimized for speed, reliability, and security.
- Identify opportunities to improve payment processes and increase transaction approval rates.
- Collaborate with the customer service and back-office team to resolve any payment-related issues faced by customers, ensuring a seamless payment experience.
- Analyze payment data to identify potential risks, areas for improvement, and opportunities to reduce costs.
- Work in payments product team closely with Product manager to help with technical details, system analysis and finding the best ways to integrate payment methods.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in payments, e-commerce, or fintech, with direct experience in payment gateway integration and management.
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of payment technologies, transaction flows, and APIs.
- Strong understanding of payment infrastructure, payment gateways, processors, and acquiring banks.
- Understanding of API integrations, dependencies and risks.
- Experience in writing documentation for integration tasks.
- Familiarity with compliance regulations such as PCI-DSS, PSD2, and experience with multi-currency payment processing.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple payment-related projects simultaneously.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong ability to work across departments and communicate effectively with diverse teams.
- Business level proficiency in English or above (equivalent to B2 or above in CEFR). Russian is nice to have
- Attention to detail: Skill in foreseeing nuances and interdependencies
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot, propose and resolve payment issues quickly to minimize disruption to business operations.
