As part of our team, you can explore what motivates and energizes your career goals: partnering with our customers, our communities, and each other.We actively uphold transparent and fair hiring practices that support individual opportunity, inclusive culture, and career mobility across all levels of our organisation.We offer meaningful opportunities for growth, a culture of inclusion, and a strong commitment to transparency and integrity in everything we do.## **Job Description**location: **Warsaw**Working model: **hub (3 days in the office)****As part of U.S. Bancorp’s Corporate Risk Management and Compliance Division, the Operational Risk Management (ORM) Department assesses enterprise-wide operational risk levels and trends, determines the effectiveness of operational risk controls, and works with Business Lines (BL) on opportunities to mitigate operational risk.****Operational Risk Management (ORM)** team within the **Second Line of Defense (SLoD)** as a **Payments Risk Analyst**, where you’ll help shape risk strategies and support operational excellence across a wide range of payment platforms.**What You’ll Do*** Analyze end-to-end payment processes and identify operational risks across systems such as **CHAPS, Target2, ACH, Wire, RTP, SWIFT, and Zelle**.* Support the development and execution of **Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA)** and **Business Line Quality Assurance (BLQA)** for payment operations.* Conduct **policy and standard gap assessments** to ensure alignment with internal frameworks and **Banking Laws and Regulations**.* Assist in drafting and maintaining enterprise-level policies for managing payment processing risks.* Coordinate remediation efforts and track progress to close identified gaps.* Contribute to enterprise-wide risk reporting and trend analysis for senior leadership and regulators.* Participate in root cause analysis of payment-related issues and support control improvement initiatives.* Collaborate with business lines to address regulatory and audit findings.**Basic Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.* 10+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, or payment operations.* Experience in, or understanding of, risk reporting and trend analysis; risk and control assessment; gap assessment; and root cause analysis.**Preferred Skills*** Experience in operational risk or payment systems within financial services.* Knowledge of **payment networks** (CHAPS, Target2, ACH, Wire, RTP, SWIFT, Zelle).* Familiarity with **RCSA**, **BLQA**, and regulatory compliance processes.* Strong communication and collaboration skills.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and process mapping software.* Experience with GRC platforms like Archer.* Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.**Why You’ll Love This Role**This is a great opportunity to grow your career in operational risk management while making a meaningful impact on how payments are managed and protected.
